Empower is an established Employee Assistance Programme from Arun Counselling Centre.
Supporting your Employees
The stresses of life and work can be a lot to handle sometimes. It is more important than ever to not only help support your employees' physical and financial wellbeing, but also their mental wellbeing.
By offering an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), you can help your employees to deal with any problems they may be experiencing in both their professional and personal life.
If an individual is unable to deal with these issues or is finding it hard to recognise the extent to which unwanted feelings are affecting their lives, they are likely to function less effectively. Even a short period of counselling can improve employee productivity and effectiveness, as well as help boost concentration, focus, job satisfaction, relationships, self-confidence and reduce stress levels.
Helping to support your employees through mental health challenges or issues with emotional wellbeing – means you get a happier, healthier workforce who feel valued and supported by their employer.
It is estimated that stress, anxiety and depression account for 50% of work-related ill health, and with 1 in 6 UK workers experiencing mental health problems, it is estimated to be costing UK employers up to £56 Billion per year.
The Empower Service
Your employees will have quick and easy access to our counselling service for up to 6 sessions per employee. Sessions are available face to face, via secure video link or over the phone. Employees can continue counselling beyond the initial 6 sessions, if agreed to be funded by either the employer, or the employee.
Accessing the Service
Once you have joined as members of the Empower service, employees can contact us direct to access the service. We will get back to them within two working days to arrange their first counselling session.
The Cost
Empower programme Arun District company membership: £100 per year
Empower programme (non-Arun District) company membership: £175 per year
Individual counselling sessions: £50
About Us
Arun Counselling has been supporting the local community since 1983. We are a charity-based service that offers one to one counselling to adults living or working in Arun District.
We offer compassionate, non-judgemental and confidential therapy, which is available face to face, via secure video link or over the phone.
