A workshop led by Pat Spink 10:00 - 12:00 Saturday 6 February 2021
The session will take account of the impact of the events of the past year on our clients, on ourselves as therapists and supervisors, and on the nature of the bereavements and other types of loss experienced.
This will include the needs and expectations of therapists and clients, the tasks and processes of grief, loss and anticipated loss, how these may have been interrupted and disrupted, and reference to some relevant models and practicalities.
Pat is one of ACC’s group supervisors. She is an experienced face-to-face and online counsellor, supervisor, trainer and coach who has her own private practice (www.wholepeople.net).
She has previously worked as a volunteer counsellor at her local hospice (for 6 years) and has a particular interest in how we approach death and dying – as well as other types of loss. She also delivers safeTALK™ courses (suicide alertness for everyone) and spent three years with The Academy for Online Counselling & Psychotherapy designing and delivering successful ACTO-approved Certificate and Diploma courses for therapists and supervisors in online therapy and supervision.
Workshop fee: £10 for members of ACC and SGPC, £20 for non-members
