Alana Burton
I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA(P)), PTSTA(P), a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, Senior Accredited member of the BACP (MBACP Snr Accred) and hold a Diploma in Supervision.
I offer clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists in training and in practice. My supervision is grounded in relational approach to Transactional Analysis and supports practitioners to deepen their clinical thinking, strengthen ethical awareness, and develop confidence in their professional identity.
My approach to supervision emphasises reflective practice, attention to process, and the relational field between therapist and client. She supports supervisees in exploring transference and countertransference, relational dynamics, and patterns that may emerge in the therapeutic work, while maintaining clear attention to safeguarding and professional standards.
Alongside my client work, I supervise counselling groups and engage in reflective practice, which ensures that my work remains thoughtful, adaptive, and attuned to each client’s needs.
